Our house tea has been specially blended for the Gloucestershire region, embracing all that is Gloucestershire! With a warm, welcoming character, natural features and plenty of heritage, this colourful combination is the perfect aid to rest and relaxation after a long walk or cultural adventure! The tea itself is a blend of North Indian Assam for warm and malty character, East African for fresh flavour, Sri Lankan for lively heritage and Kenyan for natural, colourful style. Usually taken with milk.

Also on offer are:

  • Oolong - a part fermented tea with a lovely red colour, great for an afternoon or early evening drink.

  • Whole leaf Whyte - pale yellow, fresh and a very superior tea. A light taste - perfect for the evening or on a full stomach! This 20% fermented tea is as pure as the springs in the Himalayas.

  • Darjeeling First Flush 2007 - a fresh green first flush from 2007 Just perfect for that afternoon tea with fancy cakes and cucumber sandwiches!

  • Darjeeling Suchong - a great tasting darjeeling in the rolled oriental style leaf. An elegant tea which can be taken with or without milk, according to your taste

  • Kangra Green Tea - a great everyday green loose tea from the Kangra region of India. This tea has no hint of bitterness and, apart from being supremely healthy, tastes great.

  • Nilgiri First Flush - a superb black tea, with typical deep red color and captivating aroma best taken with milk.

  • Our suppliers believe this to be one of the great finds of the tea world. The tea is produced at high altitude which produces this fabulous quality. A great example of a tippy golden tea.

  • Earl Grey - The Earl Grey blend is named after the 2nd Earl Grey, British Prime Minister in the 1830s, who reputedly received a gift of tea flavoured with bergamot oil. This particular tea is exclusively made for The Cotswold Tea Company in Kolkota. It is a delicately flavoured Earl Grey made with a pure Assam tea, gently flavoured with Bergamot oil.

  • Assam First Flush Super Tippy Golden Clonal 2006 - a smooth, creamy and full bodied Assam, possibly the best Assam we have ever tasted!
The bushes are cross bred to produce golden tips and the resulting tea is creamy and smooth. A simply awesome product.

  • China Pu-Erh - Pu-Erh (pronounced Poo-Air) is a red tea grown in the Yunnan District of China, with a slightly smokey, earthy flavour and a dark cup. Best of all, the 5th cup is as good as the 1st! A very refreshing drink enjoyed by Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham, it is said to help digest fats and boost metabolism when drunk after meals, encouraging the body to absorb less fat.

  • China Gunpowder - China Gunpowder tea is from the Zhejiang Province of China. Its English name (gunpowder) is so-called because each leaf is rolled into a small round pellet, or ‘pearl’, resembling a gunpowder pellet. Rolling tea leaves into gunpowder tea (‘pearls’) renders the leaves less susceptible to physical damage and allows them to retain more of their flavour and aroma.
Our China Gunpowder is a classic green tea with a strong character & a yellow green cup.

  • Golden Autumn - A black tea base blended with cinnamon, cola nuts, orange peel, apple & blackberry.

  • Basket of Berries - Currants, raspberries, blackberries, redcurrants and strawberries fruit infusion
