Traditional Loose-leaf teas, choose from: Earl Grey Tirupati Estate Made with an excellent quality black Indian Assam tea as the base with the oil of bergamot added for the typical Earl Grey aroma & taste. A great afternoon tea. Usually taken without milk. Assam first flush super tippy golden clonal First flush means the first season tea leaf picking, so has a fresher less complicated flavour than a later picked tea. An excellent all day tea with a smooth creamy and full bodied flavour. Great in the morning with a toasted teacake or a full English Breakfast. Usually taken with milk. Nilgiris first flush Thaisola estate A smooth south Indian black breakfast tea, lovely with our smoked salmon & scrambled eggs on an English muffin. Has a slight marzipan taste and is ideal to drink throughout the day. Usually taken with milk. Lapsang Souchong A smokey tea, great for a mid morning break & an ideal accompaniment for cheese. Usually taken without milk. Kangra Green Tea A north Indian green tea, not fermented so low in caffeine, light & refreshing. Helps the digestive process so excellent after a meal. Usually taken without milk. Darjeeling first flush A light delicate tea from the north Indian region of Darjeeling. The champagne of teas, it is a perfect accompaniment to our afternoon tea, cream tea or a piece of chocolate cake! Usually taken without milk, but milk can be taken if preferred. Oolong Poobong Estate From the north Indian region of Darjeeling it is a part fermented, light & refreshing tea with a lovely red colour. Another great afternoon tea enjoyed with a cream tea or slice of cake. Usually taken without milk Chamomile Tea A light herbal tea with a light green/yellow colour. Helps with relaxation & unwinding. Goes well with light snacks or a salad. Usually taken without milk. Peppermint Tea An herbal tea with a natural sweetness with a deep green colour. Can be drunk all day especially after a meal to aid digestion. Usually taken without milk. Fruit Teas & Pure Fruit Infusions Basket of Berries - a pure fruit infusion of currants, raspberries, blackberries, redcurrants and strawberries Winter Berry - also known as 'Golden Autumn', this black tea base is blended with cinnamon, cola nuts, orange peel, apple & blackberry.
