One thing we have found is that you don't always want lunch at lunchtime. Sometimes, if you've been out for the day you may want to eat later in the day. Here at the tearoom, we continue to serve our full menu throughout the day. More importantly, all our food is freshly prepared to order.

We also make all our soups using fresh, seasonal local produce where available.

Every Sunday, we prepare a traditional roast lunch with roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables, we cater for vegetarians and other dietary requirements. We run our full menu - including the daily specials board - alongside the sunday roast option, and will never turn anyone away if you just fancy a pot of tea and a piece of homemade cake.

Our house speciality is a Traditional Ploughmans Lunch. A generous selection of local cheeses*, traditional homemade chutneys and pickles, fresh apple, celery, homemade coleslaw and a fresh baked baguette. Perfect for the cheese lover.

Unique in the Forest is our Afternoon Tea menu. Sit back and relax as we serve you a feast of freshly made sandwiches, scones and homemade cakes on a tiered cake plate, accompanied by our house blend tea in fine bone china. This treat is no quick snack and is available all day every day - they will make any occasion special.

Our menu is constantly changing and improving. Alongside our regular menu, we have a Lunch Specials Board for seasonal homemade lunch time treats. This board is always different, but so you can see typically the type of foods we serve, we've added some of the daily specials boards to this site.
