Set amidst the rolling hills of the Royal Forest of Dean, our traditional-style tearoom is the ideal place to enjoy freshly brewed tea served in beautiful china with a slice of homemade cake.

The Old Dairy Tearoom, located at the Harts Barn Craft Centre in Longhope, is a Grade II listed barn conversion once central to a working dairy farm. Nestled amongst farmland, visitors to the tearoom may find themselves lunching with a free-range chicken or ducking to avoid a nesting swallow!

All of our produce is sourced locally and is seasonal where possible. We pride ourselves on offering excellent quality and service within the beautiful and tranquil setting of the Forest.

The Old Dairy, as well as the main tearoom, offers shaded seating in the busy courtyard and in a more secluded tea garden to the rear. The first floor loft conversion is ideal for meetings and functions, and is also available for private dining and celebrations.
